NEW YORK—The New York Jets and CBS New York have inked a multi-year extension of their deal that will provide fans with preseason game broadcasts, Jets shoulder programming, and exclusive team content.

The deal continues their 28-year relationship and re-establishes the station as the official broadcast home of the New York Jets.

The Jets preseason coverage begins on Friday, August 14 when the team hosts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at MetLife Stadium (7:00 p.m. ET). On Friday, August 21, the team will make the trip to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium (7:00 p.m. ET). The final tilt of the preseason slate will be the annual summer contest against the New York Giants (Friday, August 28, 7:30 p.m. ET) in Preseason Week 3.

All preseason games will air on CBS New York and stream on Paramount +.

“For nearly three decades, CBS New York has been a trusted partner in helping us connect with Jets fans across the region,” said Hymie Elhai, president, New York Jets. “This extension builds on that longstanding relationship and allows us to deliver even more access, insight and exclusive content to our fans. From live preseason coverage to behind-the-scenes programming and new team-focused shows, we’re excited to continue bringing Jets football to fans year-round through CBS New York.”

As the 2026 NFL preseason kicks off, the collaboration will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes content produced by “1JD Films,” including preseason and offseason special programming that the station said will bring fans closer to the action than ever before.

Throughout the season, Jets fans can also tune in to a robust lineup of team-focused programming, including “Jets GameDay,” “Jets Late Night,” and “The Official Jets Podcast.” As part of the refreshed programming slate, “Jets GameDay” will replace the former “Coaches' Show,” while “The Official Jets Podcast” will deliver new perspectives and expanded coverage of the team year-round.

"The New York Jets have been an outstanding partner for decades, and we're proud to continue this relationship for years to come," said Johnny Green Jr., regional president and general manager of CBS New York and CBS Boston. "As we extend the partnership past 30 years this reflects our shared commitment to serving fans, and continuing to work together to deliver compelling content and support impactful community initiatives that engage our audiences and Jets fans across the region."
