Cranking Up The Noise & Other Observations From Day 11 Of Seahawks Training Camp

**2\. Nehemiah Pritchett & Drake Thomas both had impressive interceptions.**

While Seattle's defense has been really good throughout camp, there haven't been as many takeaways as that unit would probably like, but on Friday that changed with linebacker Drake Thomas and cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett both coming down with impressive interceptions.

Thomas' pick came first, with the fourth-year linebacker dropping into coverage and making a quick, decisive break to undercut a pass intended for tight end AJ Barner.

Later in practice, after Sam Darnold had put together multiple impressive throws to Cooper Kupp and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to move the ball downfield on a drive that started at the 3-yard line, he tried to take a shot deep to Cody White. Pritchett, who was running stride for stride with White, was able to box out the bigger receiver and secure the interception. Pritchett also had a red zone pass breakup later in practice, continuing what has been a strong camp as he battles for the No. 3 cornerback job.

It's worth pointing out that, while the defense had those takeaways, Darnold and the offense also had some great moments, including a dart to Cooper Kupp for a red-zone score early in camp, then multiple touchdowns late in practice in another red zone session, including a Darnold pass to a sliding Smith-Njigba that came late in the quarterback's progression after he looked off multiple other reads.
