Jaylen Brown’s arrival to the Philadelphia 76ers instantly turned the franchise into serious title contenders, which has only become even more true due to LeBron James’ arrival. However, Philadelphia is also home to multiple other major sports franchises, and Brown looks intent to make the most of his new home.

The 29-year-old 2024 Finals MVP showed up to the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice earlier on Thursday at the NovaCare Complex, per a post on X by ClutchPoints. Brown not only watched the Eagles train, but also found the time to greet and take a selfie with a young fan.

The Eagles kickstarted their 20th annual training camp ahead of the new season in late July, and Brown took his time to meet quarterback Jalen Hurts and then met other stars such as Saquon Barkley, former Super Bowl champion Jason Kelce, and coach Nick Sirianni. The visit happened after the former Boston Celtics man gave his introductory press conference at the Francis J. Myers Recreation Center.

He then visited the Citizens Bank Park to throw out the first pitch before the Philadelphia Phillies took on the Washington Nationals. Brown threw a pitch to shortstop Trea Turner as the Phillies went on to win the game 7-3.

Of course, the five-time All-Star concluded his day by joining fellow 76ers star Tyrese Maxey on the golf course in what was his most public appearance in Philadelphia till date. Brown joins a team that is largely expected to be one of the biggest championship contenders next season after the arrival of him and LeBron James.

The 76ers, who already boasted of All-Star caliber stars such as Joel Embiid and Maxey, in addition to VJ Edgecombe, will hope that Brown can continue to build chemistry with his new team and reach the kind of levels he regularly showed in Boston.
