Chelsea’s recent pre-season opponents, Juventus, have three Chelsea strikers on their transfer shortlist for this summer transfer window.

Xabi Alonso looks set to start the campaign with Joao Pedro up front, while new signing Danny Welbeck is expected to bring both leadership and competition to his former Brighton teammate after joining the club.

However, the rest of the options at the club have far less security over their place in the side, even Emmanuel Emegha who only officially joined the club this summer.

Juventus want three Chelsea strikers

There have been reports of a potential loan move for the Netherlands international before he even plays a competitive game for the club, although Juventus are considering a permanent deal for the forward.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants are considering signing Emegha, as well as Chelsea teammates Nicolas Jackson and Liam Delap.

Jackson has been strongly linked with a move away this summer after spending last season on loan at Bayern Munich.

Delap has Premier League interest in signing him following a season where he contributed just one league goal at Stamford Bridge.

Alonso needs players to leave Chelsea

While Alonso will feel he has been well backed by Chelsea in this transfer window, although he still needs more signings if the club want to be competing this season.

For more big signings though, the Blues need to make player sales, and there is plenty of value in the three strikers Juventus are looking at.

There is also the Enzo Fernandez situation still playing out, with Chelsea needing a significant midfield signing if he was to depart before the window closes.

Alonso needs some of these exits to be confirmed soon, and will hopefully see Juventus take a chance on one of his strikers this summer.
