Arsenal scout £30m striker after Brazilian scores perfect hat-trick
Arsenal have reportedly sent scouts to watch Shakhtar Donetsk striker Kaua Elias after stepping up their search for long-term attacking options. The Kaua Elias Arsenal transfer interest comes after the 20-year-old scored a perfect hat-trick in front of representatives from several leading European clubs.
Elias was the standout performer as Shakhtar beat Kudrivka 5-1 earlier this week.
The Brazilian scored with his head, left foot and right foot during an impressive second-half display.
The Sun reports that Arsenal and Manchester United scouts were both in attendance, while AC Milan and Porto are also monitoring the forward.
Shakhtar are reportedly demanding around £30million before considering a sale.

Kaua Elias Arsenal transfer interest grows after scouting trip
The scouting mission suggests Arsenal are looking beyond their immediate first-team targets.
Mikel Arteta already has Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz available centrally, but Gabriel Jesus could still leave before the transfer window closes.

Elias would represent a very different type of investment.
Shakhtar’s official profile describes him as a centre-forward with strength in the air, pace and the ability to finish from different areas. He joined the Ukrainian club from Fluminense in February 2025 and is contracted until 2030.
The Brazil youth international has scored 12 senior goals for Shakhtar, according to the club’s official statistics.
Interest is likely to increase if his performances continue.
Arsenal have not submitted an offer and there is no suggestion a deal is close, but sending scouts to watch Elias represents a concrete step beyond simply monitoring his name from afar.
The Kaua Elias Arsenal transfer story therefore remains at an early stage, but his perfect hat-trick could have strengthened his position on Arteta’s long-term shortlist.
