Pre-season friendlies over the weekend of 8-9 August kicked off with a comfortable victory for Chelsea Women in New Zealand.
Aggie Beever-Jones’ hat-trick set Chelsea up for a 7-0 win over an Auckland Invitational XI, with Giulia Dragoni, Sandy Baltimore, Maika Hamano, and Mayra Ramirez adding a goal each.
Matches for the weekend still include Aston Villa taking on Ipswich Town, Durham facing Celtic, and Portsmouth going up against Wolves
