Chelsea have been busy in the transfer market as they look to bounce back from a forgettable season. The Blues finished 10th last term and new manager Xabi Alonso will want to lift them back into the Champions League.
The club haven't been afraid to spend in search of an improved finish. They have broken their club record to sign Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa for £117million and he isn't the only new face.
Deals for Geovany Quenda and Emanuel Emegha were agreed before the appointment of Alonso, with the pair costing Chelsea a combined £62m. Alonso has also overseen moves for Marco Palestra, Maxence Lacroix, Danny Welbeck, Jordan Henderson and Valentin Barco, with the total outlay passing £300m.
About a third of that sum has been recouped through sales. Marc Cucurella, Andrey Santos and Tyrique George have all moved on, while there has also been a notable loan exit for Alejandro Garnacho.
