FC Barcelona are going to be in action tonight, on Saturday, as they are participating in the triangular competition in Udine, Italy, in which they will be facing Udinese and Nottingham Forest. This engagement will provide Hansi Flick with a good opportunity to test out his team before the start of the next season.
The German coach will still be without several of his important players, as the players who played in the World Cup final for Spain are still on their holidays, and are expected to rejoin training only next week.
Still, even from the available players, the Blaugrana coach is expected to leave several players out of the squad that will travel to Italy for these games, which is set to be announced on Saturday.
As MARCA has reported, the midfielder Marc Casado, the forward Roony Bardghji, the defender Ronald Araujo, and the youngster Jofre Torrents are all expected not to be on this list, as all of them are very close to leaving the club.
Casado is being considered as surplus to requirements at Barcelona, and this status will endure particularly if the Catalans end up signing Rodri Hernandez from Manchester City. In fact, the Blaugranes are close to reaching an agreement with Al-Hilal for his departure.
Bardghji is facing a similar situation. With the arrivals of Karim Adeyemi and Anthony Gordon, and the presence of stars like Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, he is not expected to get a lot of minutes next season, and is expected to leave for another side this summer.
Araujo has joined Liverpool on a season-long loan, and has already said his goodbyes to his teammates. Meanwhile, Torrents is close to joining Ajax on loan, and this transfer is expected to be finalized on the coming Monday or Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the new signing JesseBisiwu is going to be a part of the Barcelona squad that travels to Italy for this triangular tournament.
