Rico Lewis says the lines of communication from new manager Enzo Maresca are proving both clear and precise.
The Academy graduate and his City colleagues are currently out in Seoul, South Korea working under the new Etihad boss as part of the Club’s 2026 Asia Tour.
A productive and successful trip to Asia wraps up on Sunday with our final clash against Atletico Madrid, a game which will be screened live on CITY+ (excluding Korea and Spain).
And addressing the media at Saturday’s pre-match press conference, Lewis revealed how the players were already benefiting from the Italian’s clarity and direction.
“I have known Enzo since the Treble season. We knew from the first week what it was going to be like - very direct, very clear, very honest,” Lewis revealed.
“The patterns and they he wants us to work is clear.
“It’s important thing as a player to have a clear idea of what the manager wants from you and that’s how it’s been so far.”
