Just 24 hours after playing Milan in Indonesia, they head to Malaysia to face Johor Darul Ta’zim, the current Malaysian Super League champions. The expectation is that the players who started against Milan won’t feature here so we can pick from the available bench players.

Based on the matchday squad for the previous friendly.
The goalkeeper contingent is currently made up of Rob Sanchez, Mike Penders, and Teddy Sharman-Lowe. The back line is stocked with Josh Acheampong, Mamadou Sarr, Aaron Anselmino, Wes Fofana, Tayo Subuloye, Marco Palestra, and Jorrel Hato. Levi Colwill was absent against Juventus due to injury and appears now to have left the tour altogether.

In midfield, Moises Caicedo made a slightly surprising return against Juventus and is an option for the pivot with Dario Essugo, Romeo Lavia, Madhi Nicoll-Jazuli, and Reggie Walsh.
The huge amount of attacking options include Reggie Watson, Danny Welbeck, Mykhailo Mudryk, Pedro Neto, Geovany Quenda, Jamie Gittens, Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Estevao, and Dastan Satpayev.
Chelsea Tactics
The team have set up in a 4-2-3-1 so far in pre-season with a marauding full-back working in tandem with a winger and the pivot being pretty adaptable. In possession, they become something akin to a 3-2-4-1 but the centre-backs are given license to be a bit more risky.
