It's about time, many of us around here would say. Or how about we just enjoy that it's celebration time.

Roger Craig finally gets his moment at Saturday's Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony, which begins at 11 a.m. on NFL Network. He received his gold jacket on Friday night.

The former Husker running back and NFL great became the sixth former Nebraska football player to be selected for enshrinement in the National Football League Hall of Fame.

Craig joins an 2026 NFL Hall of Fame class along with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, kicker Adam Vinatieri and Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly.

Craig played for the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Raiders and Minnesota Vikings during his 11-year NFL career. Craig was a four-time Pro Bowler and won three Super Bowls with the 49ers, becoming the first NFL player to have 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards in the same season.

Let's look at some snapshots, highlights and what they're saying about the great former Husker high-stepper.
