Paris Saint-Germain looks to be gearing up for Bradley Barcola’s departure, with the European champions getting closer to two more signings that could push the winger even further toward the exit door.

Liverpool is of course in the running for the 23-year-old as it looks for new wingers, with a replacement for club legend Mohamed Salah still needed. Despite one report on Friday claiming the Reds and PSG had reached an agreement, there is still a lot of work to be done before Andoni Iraola can start planning for Barcola in his side.

PSG though looks as though it is preparing for life after his departure. Having completed the signing of Maghnes Akliouche this week, two more forwards now look as though they could also be on the way to the French capital.

According to Spanish outlet Marca, Ferran Torres will join PSG from Barcelona "barring a major upset." What’s more, ESPN reports that the World Cup final goalscorer has told his current club he wants the move to Paris, having agreed terms with the European champions.

Torres has just one year remaining on his contract at the Camp Nou, and it’s claimed that Barca will not stand in his way if a fee can be agreed. Talks are set to begin, with a first offer from PSG anticipated.

While Torres does tend to primarily operate as a striker, he does also offer another option on the wing, and may therefore offer yet more competition to Barcola for a spot in Luis Enrique’s side.

But even if Torres was bought solely to offer another option to Ousmane Dembele as the No. 9, it looks as though there could be more direct competition on the wing coming.

According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG is in active talks with Ajax for Mika Godts, and has a new proposal ready to send to the Dutch giant. The French club is said to be offering a total package worth $58 million (€50M) for the 21-year-old.

Godts, a left-winger by trade, is claimed to have already agreed personal terms with PSG, which could speed up the process, and may well mean that Barcola’s direct replacement will be in position soon.

Liverpool will be hoping that means Barcola’s price may come down. According to L'Equipe, the Reds and PSG are still "very far apart" on their valuations for the winger.

It is claimed though that a deal should be reached, with the French side having already reportedly lowered their price tag. Having initially asked for around $195 million (£145M), PSG is now said to be demanding $172 million (£128M).

Liverpool.com says: You'd have to think that PSG's new abundance of forwards, if it signs both Torres and Godts, would strengthen Liverpool's negotiations for Barcola.

Although the French side can point to him still having two years remaining on his contract, it does seem as though it is preparing for life without Barcola, and that will hopefully mean the Reds can talk that price down.
