Daniel Farke
Leeds United must turn their attention to strengthening their midfield after completing the signing of James Trafford, and Liverpool's Harvey Elliott could be the perfect option for Daniel Farke's squad.
The Whites have been active in the transfer window thus far, completing deals for Trafford, Tarik Muharemovic and Harry Wilson. The ex-Manchester City man will finally provide Farke's team with a reliable figure in between the sticks, while Muharemovic is a promising young defender who bolsters the Yorkshire side's defensive line, and Wilson will add a goal threat from out wide.
Boasting a solid defensive record last term, Leeds must build on this by adding increased creativity in the middle of the park. Clearly, the club's hierarchy recognise this as they attempted to sign Julian Brandt earlier in the window, only for the German playmaker to join Ajax.
Elliott has now been identified as an alternative, and Leeds should be going all out to secure the Englishman's services.
Leeds Move a 'Possibility' For Harvey Elliott This Summer

Leeds were being mooted as a potential suitor for Elliott back in May, although reports on this front have gone quiet since the window actually opened in June.
That was until this week, when former Everton chief Keith Wyness revealed on the Inside Track Podcast that a switch to Elland Road was a 'possibility' for Elliott this summer.
"Yeah, I think the bad blood is certainly enough to get him away from Liverpool, and I think, I'm afraid, Leipzig are the favourites from what I've heard," he said.
"Leeds is going to become an attractive option for a player like Harvey, but I think it might be good for him personally to get out of England."

Leeds' end-of-season success last term was built on defensive resilience and threat from set-pieces. From open play as an attacking force, Farke's side left a lot to be desired.
This is largely a result of a lack of creative personnel in the German's squad. Brenden Aaronson showed flashes of brilliance but isn't able to sustain form in the Premier League, while the rest of the West Yorkshire outfit's midfielders are functional, workman-like players.
Elliott, described as 'special' by the EFL, may have endured a torrid loan spell at Aston Villa last term, but he has the attributes Leeds are looking for. Creative in the final third, excellent at progressing the ball from deep and capable of operating out wide if need be, he has all the tools to become a central piece in a team with European aspirations.

Given his status at Liverpool as a forgotten man, it shouldn't require a significant fee to prise him away from Anfield. At 23, he has room to develop and is a more sensible addition than the ageing Brandt.
