Washington Commanders left tackle Laremy Tunsil suffered a torn triceps in Saturday's practice and will miss at least a significant portion of the regular season, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo and NFL Network's Steve Wyche reported.
Garafolo and Wyche added that Tunsil is likely to require surgery.
Tunsil, 32, was preparing for his second season with Washington after signing a massive two-year, $60.2 million extension in March. He made a Pro Bowl with the Commanders in 2025, his such recognition.
