Liverpool transfer blow as Crystal Palace make ‘concrete’ offer for €50m midfielder
Liverpool have surprisingly not added to their midfield this summer as it initially looked like it would be a priority for Andoni Iraola.
Barring Dominik Szoboszlai, pretty much everyone else underperformed for the Reds in the centre of the park last season, which played a big role in Arne Slot’s dismissal.
Earlier this summer, Lamine Camara was linked with a move to Anfield after his strong performances in France.
And now, it appears as if Crystal Palace have made their move to sign the talented midfielder.

According to Foot Mercato, the Eagles have placed a ‘concrete offer’ for the Monaco midfielder, although the value of their bid hasn’t been mentioned.
Camara is reportedly set for a move to the Premier League and is willing to take his time to choose the best project for his development.
Liverpool and Manchester United are on the ‘lookout’ but haven’t yet made an offer, while Nottingham Forest are also interested in signing the Senegalese midfielder.

The report also confirms that Monaco’s asking price is €50m as they hope to start a bidding war for the player.
Palace have made their move for Camara, so if Liverpool want him, they need to bid ASAP as the Eagles are expected to press ahead with a transfer this week if they agree a fee with Monaco.
