Sky Sports confirm massive Bradley Barcola to Liverpool update

**This Bradley Barcola saga needs to end ASAP, one way or another, for Liverpool.**

Various sources have confirmed that the Reds remain locked in talks with PSG to sign the 24-year-old this summer.

However, so far, an official offer hasn’t been submitted by Liverpool, as contrasting reports have emerged on his price tag.

And now, [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/12691/13567165/bradley-barcola-transfer-news-psg-value-france-forward-at-lb145m-amid-liverpool-and-arsenal-interest-paper-talk) have appeared to confirm PSG’s asking price, which is not good news for the Reds.

Last summer, the Reds broke the Premier League record transfer fee, first for Florian Wirtz and then for Alexander Isak.

This summer, the likes of Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson have been signed by Chelsea and Manchester City, respectively, for £116m.

And PSG feel any deal for Barcola should be above that figure as the 24-year-old has more experience, boasts a better pedigree and is a key player for club and country.

According to the aforementioned source, the Parisian giants value Barcola at £145m, which would make him the most expensive player in Premier League history by a country mile.

We can’t see Liverpool paying such a fee for the Frenchman, as good as he is. However, they really want to sign Barcola and have a good relationship with PSG, so the only way this deal gets done is if the reigning European champions reduce their demands.
