Chelsea fans will have spent hours debating whether Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers, or perhaps both will make their FPL teams, as well as which other players they can rely on to lead them to FPL glory. That's all part of the fun of Fantasy Premier League.

Assessment of Xabi Alonso’s starting XI will be key to choosing your Chelsea players this season, who will be vital to their fortunes to get the FPL points, and who is not going to be a favourite of the former Real Madrid manager.

But there's one decision that stumps almost every manager before a ball has even been kicked: the team name. Do you offer comedic value to the private league? Or do you proudly wear your club colours? Well, Blues fans, the good news is you don't have to choose; you can do both.

To help narrow down your options, we've put together a selection of the best Chelsea-inspired FPL team names, drawing on current players, club legends, and the club itself. There is something for everyone, even the older Blues fans who remember the likes of John Terry, Eden Hazard and Frank Lampard

The best FPL team names for fans in the 2026/27 season

My favourites revolve around puns on Tosin Adarabioyo and new signing Emmanuel Emegha. The Tosin and Turning is an FPL classic that will never get old among the fanbase as long as he stays at Stamford Bridge, while Sega Emegha Drive is another personal favourite that's become a regular feature in Reddit discussions. They're the perfect blend of terrible and brilliant, exactly what every good FPL team name should be.

Fantasy Premier League is available to play now

Fantasy Premier League is LIVE, and with the start of a new season beckoning, fans are already beginning to ponder who they'll add to their team. Will it be Morgan Rogers for your midfield powerhouse, welcoming Levi Colwill back for his defensive contributions, Cole Palmer for his G/A contributions or another star in the team? The choices are yours.

Players, both new and old, are able to log in and build their initial squads. You have until the first game of the season (ideally) to re-enter or sign up for the platform to tinker with your stars and formation to start earning points and bragging to your mates.

Cole Palmer is the most expensive of Chelsea’s stars at £9.5 million, and if you choose him, you’ll be hoping for a much better return than last season. He is the fourth-most expensive player in the game, behind only Erling Haaland, Bruno Fernandes and Bukayo Saka, despite not being Chelsea’s highest-scoring player in FPL last season, and not particularly close to it. So, the big question is: will you take the risk?

Morgan Rogers, meanwhile, looks like a more budget-friendly option at a very reasonable £7.5 million. João Pedro is also priced at £7.5 million, while Chelsea have several other attractively priced midfield options who could offer plenty of value.

Whoever you choose for your line-up, make sure you give your team a catchy name. That way, if your selections fail to deliver, at least your team name can earn you some credit among your friends and fellow Chelsea fans.
