Liverpool want €70m for Real Madrid target after he asked to leave
It’s been a fairly quiet summer transfer window for Liverpool, but it looks like things are heating up.
The Reds remain locked in talks to sign Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye, while a deal has been agreed with Barcelona for the loan signing of Ronald Araujo.
In terms of their midfield, not much has been done in terms of transfers, but Trey Nyoni’s performances in pre-season have given the Reds a lot of optimism.
However, speculation surrounding Alexis Mac Allister’s future continues to dominate the back pages.
And if reports from Spain are to be believed, they have set their price tag for the Argentine midfielder amid interest from Real Madrid.

The aforementioned report states that Mac Allister has ‘requested a transfer’ and Real Madrid are interested in signing him this summer.
The Reds want €70m for Mac Allister, who has been a key player for the club since joining from Brighton three years ago.
The condition for Real Madrid is that, after missing out on Rodri, they want a midfielder but won’t go ahead with any deals unless they manage to offload one of Aurelien Tchouameni or Eduardo Camavinga.
The report also mentions that Jose Mourinho’s side are monitoring Fabian Ruiz and Martin Zubimendi on top of Mac Allister, with one of the three players expected to be signed by the club this summer.
