Arsenal star Martin Zubimendi is being linked with a move to both Real Madrid and Chelsea this summer. The Spain international is being tipped to be a potential departure from the Gunners before the summer transfer window closes on September 1.
The Gunners have already agreed to sell one key player in their squad this summer, with a £17million deal finalised for Leandro Trossard to join Besiktas, and only time will tell if there are any more exits before the deadline.
What happens between now and deadline day remains unclear, but reports from Spain have claimed that Zubimendi's future could be something to keep in mind over the next few weeks.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo have claimed that Real Madrid could capitalise on an "uncertain future" facing Zubimendi at Arsenal this summer.
Zubimendi's position with the Gunners is said to be in question following the club's £75million signing of Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United.
Madrid are understood to be seeking a new midfielder, and look set to miss out on securing Rodri, with Barcelona the Manchester City star's likeliest destination.
The report adds, however, that Arsenal are unlikely to authorise Zubimendi's departure this summer for anything less than €90million (£77million).
Chelsea are also said to be showing interest in signing Zubimendi, with their new manager, Xabi Alonso, believed to be eager to bring the Spain international to Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal brought Zubimendi to the club only last summer, securing his services from Real Sociedad in a transfer worth just over the £51million release clause contained within his contract at the Spanish outfit.
Madrid had shown a desire to sign Zubimendi a year ago, yet Arsenal succeeded in pipping the La Liga heavyweights to the 27-year-old's signature.
Zubimendi proved instrumental in Arsenal's achievements last season, featuring in 57 appearances across all competitions and contributing to the Gunners' Premier League title triumph and their run to the Champions League final — despite his involvement gradually reducing as the season progressed.
What Arsenal have in store for the remainder of the summer transfer window is yet to be revealed, with the Community Shield clash against Manchester City scheduled for next weekend before the Premier League season kicks off at home to Coventry City the following week.
