Andoni Iraola has named a strong lineup for Liverpool’s penultimate friendly of pre-season, with key players returning for the clash with Monaco at Anfield.
Back from their tour of the United States, Liverpool face arguably their biggest test of the summer against Ligue 1 side Monaco.
Alisson is among those brought into the side after a delayed return to training, with the Brazilian taking over from Giorgi Mamardashvili.
With Ronald Araujo’s loan yet to be confirmed, a back four of Jeremie Frimpong, Ifeanyi Ndukwe, Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas starts.
Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch make up the midfield pivot, with Florian Wirtz in the No. 10 role.
Lewis Koumas and Cody Gakpo start out wide while Alexander Isak leads the attack.
This Is Anfield understands Curtis Jones has been left out of the squad as a precaution, with Stefan Bajcetic also among those to train in the week but miss the game.
