Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Dax Hill (23) walks into the locker room at the conclusion of organized team activities practice, Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. Cincinnati Bengals Football Practice June 14 0058
Training camp is in full swing in Cincinnati as the 2026 season approaches quickly for the Bengals, who have a revamped roster hoping to snap a three-year streak of missing the postseason.
Although there is a lot of excitement surrounding this roster, cornerback Dax Hill has now missed another practice due to an injury.
Hill has been dealing with what appears to be a hamstring issue suffered in Thursday’s practice, and it is clear Zac Taylor and his staff are playing it incredibly safe to avoid anything long-term.
Taylor has not announced any sort of timetable for Hill, but there is a possibility that he won’t see the field for the first preseason game against the Detroit Lions this coming week.
Just like the entire team, this is a massive year for Hill because he is entering the final year of his contract after the Bengals exercised his fifth-year option.
Hill will be a crucial piece to the secondary in 2026 alongside DJ Turner, Jordan Battle, Bryan Cook, and others as they look to get the defense back on track.
