Johor took the lead through Arif Aiman after 14 minutes before Delap won and converted a penalty to bring Chelsea level before half-time.
The striker scored again from the spot after Jamie Gittens was fouled in the second half, briefly putting Chelsea 2-1 ahead.

Johor responded through Óscar Arribas, whose free-kick took a deflection on its way into the net, before substitute Bergson restored the hosts’ advantage late on.
Chelsea avoided defeat when Cristian Glauder turned the ball into his own net, completing an eventful six-goal contest at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.
