GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Carolina Panthers returned to the practice field following their thrilling 33-30 last-second victory over the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.
Head coach Dave Canales shared his thoughts on the team’s performance and provided an injury update on rookie quarterback Haynes King. In his NFL debut, the undrafted free agent threw two touchdowns before scoring the game-winning rushing touchdown as time expired. King is now considered “week-to-week” after suffering a hamstring injury during the game.
Quarterback Bryce Young and tight end Mitchell Evans also spoke with the media, sharing their excitement as the starters prepare to suit up for the next preseason matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, August 15 at 1 p.m.
