Manchester United’s impressive run of pre-season form continued on Saturday as they held Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain to a 1-1 draw in Gothenburg.
Michael Carrick’s side fell behind early on when Ibrahim Mbaye put PSG in front, but Bryan Mbeumo continued his fine form in front of goal by equalising for the Red Devils shortly after the half hour mark.
United held on to earn a draw against the European champions, having beaten Rosenborg and Atletico Madrid in their previous two pre-season friendlies.
Next up for the Red Devils is a friendly against Leeds United, before they face Italian side AC Milan in their final match before the start of the new campaign.
In the meantime, it is emerging that Man United remain interested in a highly-rated England star.
As per CaughtOffside, Man United are still interested in Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton.

The report claims that the Manchester outfit are still monitoring the Englishman’s situation, however Palace’s £85 million valuation of the player has so far prevented negotiations from advancing.
Another issue for the Red Devils is the amount of interest that Wharton has attracted from other clubs, including Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Premier League rivals Chelsea are also still keen on the midfielder, the report suggests, with the Blues currently posing the biggest threat to United’s pursuit of the player.
Wharton, 22, joined the Eagles from Blackburn Rovers in 2024 and has since made a total of 96 appearances for the south London side across all competitions.
The midfielder’s contract at Selhurst Park is set to run until the end of the 2028/29 season, but it appears increasingly likely that he could depart Palace during the current transfer window.
