The Dallas Cowboys are rolling in training camp, and they're looking to have a good season. The defense is one area where they want to make improvements, and new defensive coordinator Christian Parker is ready to turn the unit around from what they did last season with the old regime.
It all starts in training camp, but Parker is not having fun knowing that some of their clips are being put out to the public. That's what comes with fans coming to camp, and Parker has never been a fan of the videos getting out, as it could lead to an advantage for their opponents.
“When you're in Week 1 or 2, you're looking for things,” Parker said via 1053thefan. “I don't know if people realize this, but I was following some of our media members even before I got here because when I was in Green Bay, and then Denver, and then Philadelphia, I've played Dallas in all three spots. You're kind of looking for things. A lot of it isn't training camp stuff; it's injury reports. The normal stuff.
#Cowboys DC Christian Parker says he doesn't like fans and other people posting videos from training camp practices.
Why? When Parker was with other teams, he would find Cowboys practice clips online and flag anything they could use.

“Everybody's going to stream a practice, but sometimes you can find some things. There have been some things I've found along the way, either when I was a QC or a position coach, that might have been posted by the team or might have been posted by a fan, or might have been posted by a player.”
Parker says that stuff can't limit what they want to do in camp, so at the end of the day, teams have to live with the reality of their footage getting out.
The Cowboys face the New York Giants in Week 1, and it wouldn't be a surprise if they already knew of the things to expect from Parker and the defense.
