Arsenal have made a surprise enquiry for Club Brugge defender Joaquin Seys, according to The Sun.
Seys is predominantly a left-back but can also play as a right-back.
The 21-year-old was part of the Belgium squad at the World Cup and already has six international caps.
He bagged five goals and eight assists in 55 appearances across all competitions for Club Brugge in the 2025/26 season.
Club Brugge would love to keep hold of their highly-rated defender but are prepared to listen to offers in the region of €35 million (£30m).
Manchester United and Aston Villa have also joined the growing list of clubs monitoring Seys.
Signing a left-back is not a priority for Arsenal
The Premier League champions already have a strong relationship with Club Brugge after securing the services of Christos Tzolis from the Belgian side.
Bruno Guimaraes, Illan Meslier and Piero Hincapie have also completed permanent moves to the Emirates Stadium.
Despite those additions, the Gunners still have three more signings on their agenda if they are to build a squad capable of challenging for every major trophy next season.
