Arsenal could sanction six deals this week as time in the transfer window ticks down

Arsenal could be set for a very busy week in the transfer window. So far, Mikel Arteta has recruited Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for around £34million while Newcastle's Bruno Guimaraes has signed for £75m.
The Gunners have also brought in goalkeeper Illan Meslier from Leeds United on a free transfer, while Piero Hincapie has joined on a permanent deal after spending last season on loan from Bayer Leverkusen.
Regarding the exit door, Leandro Trossard has joined Besiktas, and Jakub Kiwior has left for Porto. Karl Hein signed for Werder Bremen while Christian Norgaard moved to Everton.
However, with the transfer window closing on September 1, a host of deals could happen this week. We've taken a closer look.
OUT - Ethan Nwaneri
The young Arsenal star's future at the Emirates Stadium is unclear after he spent the second half of last season on loan at Marseille. It's believed that the German side RB Leipzig are interested in the attacking midfielder, while fellow Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund are also monitoring the player.

The Gunners have not decided whether to sanction an exit for Nwaneri. The youngster signed a five-year contract only 12 months ago but has faced tough competition, with the arrival of Guimaraes only complicating matters for the 19-year-old. Arsenal could cash in, however, bolstering their kitty as they look to advance on other targets.
IN- Pio Esposito
After failing in their attempts to sign Vinicius Jr, Arsenal could pivot toward Inter Milan's Pio Esposito. The Sun reports that the Gunners sent scouts to Inter's pre-season derby against AC Milan to watch the 21-year-old forward.

Inter have claimed the Italian is "untouchable". However, it's been reported that they have actually slapped a £73m price tag on the player.
Sources close to Esposito claim that, while he is committed to Inter, he is open to a move to England and Arsenal could move as they up their hunt for another attacker.
IN - Ezri Konsa
Aston Villa are said to be resigned to losing Konsa this summer as Arsenal look to increase their bid for the player. The Gunners failed in an attempt to sign the England defender earlier in the summer.

Arsenal have lost William Saliba to a back injury at the World Cup and are dealing with injuries to Ben White and Jurrien Timber.
The 28-year-old Konsa is a key target for the Gunners but their first bid was understood to be just over half of Villa's £60m price tag. However, The Mail reports that Villa are growing "increasingly concerned" about Konsa leaving.

OUT - Gabriel Jesus
Reports in Italy claim Gabriel Jesus is wanted by Serie A side Napoli. Jesus has entered the final year of his contract with Arsenal and fallen down the pecking order behind Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz after a series of injuries.
AC Milan have also been linked with a move, though Corriere dello Sport claims Napoli are pinning their hopes on Jesus' reported desire to move to Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. It's thought that Arsenal have set a £17.1m price tag on the forward.

Arteta is understood to have given the green light for Jesus’ exit, who made only 14 Premier League appearances last season.
Speculation was fuelled after Jesus' agent, Giovanni Branchini, was spotted at Napoli's training ground in Castel di Sangro recently. However, Branchini has insisted that he was visiting the club to see another of his clients, Napoli boss Massimiliano Allegri.
OUT - Gabriel Martinelli
Martinelli is reportedly attracting interest from Turkey. The winger has entered the final year of his deal with the Gunners after he joined the club in 2019. He has scored 62 goals in 278 appearances for the club.

Galatasaray are reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian international. It's believed Martinelli could even become Arsenal's record sale, with the £35m Liverpool paid for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2019 surprisingly still the club's biggest-ever exit.
OUT - Tommy Setford
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal goalkeeper Tommy Setford is attracting interest from Las Palmas. The two clubs are said to be thrashing out the terms of a loan deal and not a permanent switch.

Setford has travelled with the Premier League champions to both Arsenal's friendlies away in Girona and Dublin, but wasn't named in the squad for either game.
Arsenal have used the 20-year-old as a third-choice keeper, but with Meslier joining this summer, Setford has fallen back down the pecking order with David Raya returning.
