Trevoh Chalobah has completed his move from Chelsea to Como, signing for the Serie A club in a £30m deal.
Chalobah will now link up with former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who has had nothing but praise for the central defender following his arrival at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium.
Fabregas has commented on Chalobah’s ability on the ball among many other things.

Fabregas appreciates the technical skill Chalobah has to build out from the back as well as his leadership qualities and more.
Discussing what the 27-year-old will bring to his team, Fabregas told Como’s official club website: “Trevoh is an important signing for us and a player who represents the level of ambition we have at this club. He has competed and won at the highest level, but he is also hungry to begin a new chapter and continue improving.
“He gives us strength, speed and personality in defence, as well as the technical quality to build from the back. He is a leader who can raise the level of the team, and I am very happy that he has chosen Como.”

Had Chalobah stayed at Chelsea, he was almost certain to lose his starting XI place. The Blues have signed Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace, who will be expected to partner Levi Colwill in central defence this upcoming season.
Of course, in a back three, perhaps Xabi Alonso would have had room for him. But Chelsea needed to make sales this summer after more spending, while Chalobah may want guaranteed minutes.
After receiving £30m for him, though, Chelsea fans are quite happy with the Chalobah deal.
Chelsea should have kept Trevoh Chalobah
Chalobah is not the first centre-back Chelsea should have sold. He was the team’s most consistent player in that position last term and is more reliable than someone like Benoit Badiashile, for example.
However, there was clearly more of a market for the England international. He has generated more interest than Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo.
Being a Chelsea academy graduate, too, the club have made pure profit from his sale.
As a squad player, though, it would have been great if Chelsea had kept hold of him. But at this stage of his career, Chalobah probably wants to be more than that.
Let us see what the club now decide to do with Adarabioyo, who had a torrid game against Johor Darul Ta’zim, and Badiashile.
