Man City have reignited their interest in Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, according to reports.
Sport Italia journalist Gianluigi Longari claims that Rodri’s potential departure> could lead to an offer being made for the Argentinian international before the transfer window closes:

One big factor could stop Man City from signing the midfielder
Chelsea have given no indication that they are willing to compromise on their current asking price, which stands at £120m.
The Blues will feel justified in maintaining their stance based on the transfer fees that other midfield players have been going for this summer. City, for example, have already paid £116m for Elliot Anderson.
There are, though, major differences that could lead to Fernandez being sold for a lower amount. The 25-year-old wants to leave Stamford Bridge, and he has no desire to sign a new contract. Those factors could also play a part in negotiations.
Maresca has his sights on other Chelsea players
The Italian has not only advocated an approach for Fernandez, but he has also reportedly recommended moves for Pedro Neto and Malo Gusto.
Talks have taken place with the agents of Neto, while City have also explored a deal for Gusto, but they are not expected to make an official offer for the France international unless Chelsea lower their valuation. They are currently demanding around £75m for the right-back.
There is a decent chance that at least one of the three current Blues players will join Maresca at the Etihad before September 1st.**
