With talks ongoing over a deal, Bradley Barcola has seemingly given the "green light" to Liverpool over the personal terms of a contract ahead of a potential switch from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old has been at the center of a transfer saga that has lasted most of the summer window so far, as uncertainty has continued to grow over his future. The winger has just two years remaining on his contract at the Parc des Princes, which led to Liverpool keeping tabs on his situation, in the hopes that he'd be available at some point in the market.
After crunch talks with PSG, Barcola has decided against a renewal of his contract, which has put an exit into motion so his club can maximize his value at this point in his deal.
Liverpool has quickly pounced at the opportunity, with Andoni Iraola clearly needing wingers for his team before the window closes at the start of next month.
It's a complicated deal to pull off, one that has and will take time for the Reds to get done, but work is already being done to ensure that Barcola ends up as one of the new arrivals at Anfield.
Some of that groundwork on the player side has seemingly paid off, as Fabrizio Romano reports that the club has received the "final green light" from the winger on personal terms.

It comes as quite a boost for Richard Hughes in the negotiation process, giving the Reds a clear advantage in trying to get a deal done, not only with the fact that the player wants to join, but it could also ward off potential competition from elsewhere.
It means negotiations are now up to both Liverpool and PSG, with an agreement on a transfer fee yet to be reached, as a gap in valuation remains.
Those final steps could take some time, with both teams trying to get the best deal possible from the situation, though at some point, there will need to be a compromise.
The deal for Barcola remains a priority for Liverpool, but it's not the only one that the club is trying to get done before the transfer window slams shut in the next few weeks.
PSG star Ibrahim Mbaye remains a player of interest, with a deal for the winger separate from the chase for Barcola, while Ronald Araujo is set to be the latest addition for the Reds in the backline.
Once moves for the wingers and center-backs are wrapped up, focus could shift toward other areas, with the midfield and right-back remaining areas of interest.
