The Washington Commanders have released their [first unofficial depth chart](https://www.commanders.com/news/commanders-release-2026-unofficial-depth-chart) of the 2026 season. This list is released every year and coaches claim they have no input on it, and [they don’t mean much](https://x.com/NickiJhabvala/status/2086785940152836152).
This is the third season with Adam Peters as general manager and Dan Quinn as head coach. It’s also the third full offseason under the new ownership group led by managing partner Josh Harris. The team needed another roster overhaul this offseason after a disappointing 5-12 finish last season. Peters went big on defense, and continues to make moves to deal with injuries and bring in more competition.
