Sheffield Wednesday are continuing their exciting summer recruitment drive, but after a string of permanent additions, loans are coming into focus at Hillsborough. And, one player reported to be on the SWFC radar is Calum Scanlon.
The Daily Mail has reported that the Owls are interested in a temporary deal for Scanlon, a 21-year-old left-back on the books at Liverpool. The youngster has impressed in pre-season and has plenty of interest, including from Wednesday.
Scanlon has made two first-team appearances for the Anfield club and has spent two spells on loan in the EFL, featuring for Millwall and Cardiff City. He is being lined up for a third temporary switch this summer.
