Ait-Nouri relishing City are Back link-up with fans

Rayan Ait-Nouri says he’s relishing the chance to train in front of our fans at the City are Back event on Thursday at the Joie Stadium.

City are Back, presented by Etihad Airways, will allow fans the opportunity to connect with the team ahead of Enzo Maresca’s first season in charge.

The exciting event also offers supporters the chance to see our new signings in action for the first time before hearing directly from our new manager and new recruits as well as some familiar faces.

City are Back gates at the Joie Stadium will open at 13.30 (UK) with the event starting at 14:00 (UK).

Ait-Nouri, who hit two goals in as many games during the pre-season Tour of Asia, is entering his second season in the sky blue shirt.

And he’s spoken glowingly about the fanbase and how the connection with them is so vital.

“I always love to see our fans,” he said.

“It’s beautiful to see their love for the club and we always want to do our best for them.

“We have trained hard in Asia but that day will just be a few days before the start of the new season, so it feels important.”
