The Carabao Cup second round draw takes place on Monday, with Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United among the Premier League clubs set to discover their first opponents in this season's competition.

Eleven Premier League teams enter the Carabao Cup at the second-round stage, joining the clubs that progressed from the first round and preliminary round.

The draw will remain regionalised into northern and southern sections, with ties scheduled to take place later in August.

When is the Carabao Cup second round draw?

The Carabao Cup second round draw will take place on Monday, Aug. 10 during the build-up to Plymouth Argyle's first-round clash with Exeter City.

Plymouth vs. Exeter kicks off at 7:30 p.m. UK time, and the draw will be at 7.20 p.m.

The draw will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports Football. ESPN will also have the full draw and fixtures once they are confirmed.
