Mika Godts' impending £42million move to Paris Saint-Germain looks set to impact Napoli's transfer pursuit of Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian has reportedly said yes to the prospect of playing in Italy under Massimiliano Allegri, with his side still looking for attacking additions.
Selling is their first priority, however, with Noa Lang and Romelu Lukaku expected to depart. The latter has reached an agreement with Fenerbahce while Lang is a target of Dutch giants Ajax, who are on the verge of selling Godts to PSG.
Lang is seemingly being eyed as his replacement with Napoli subsequently looking at Jesus under the assumption that either the former heads over to the Netherlands or Lukaku moves to Turkiye.
While it is quite a complex scenario which requires a lot of transfer dominos, La Gazetta Dello Sport are reporting that the those two departures make Napoli ready to take a 'firm hold' of Jesus, who is said to be very happy about a move to Serie A.

Their report adds that a bid, in the region of €25million (£21.4m) plus add-ons, from Ajax will arrive for Lang once the Godts transfer is official while Napoli are willing to accept a minimum of €7million (£6m) excluding bonuses for Lukaku.
Both of those transfers going through at that price opens the door for Jesus to join Napoli after they made initial contact about a transfer back in June. Arsenal will be hopeful of receiving around £17m from selling him and that is likely to be reinvested.
While it is incomings that are needed in attack, Jesus is an expendable departure as he does not have a clear role under Mikel Arteta anymore.
His fellow Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli could also be heading for the exit door following an enquiry from Galatasaray. football.london understands that negotiations are taking place over a fee but that no deal will go through unless a replacement is lined up.

Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Jr have been targeted by Arsenal but the former chose Chelsea while Real Madrid managed to agree a contract extension with the 26-year-old.
Arteta was asked about transfers following the Emirates Cup defeat to Borussia Dortmund and confirmed they are looking to bring in more bodies before the window closes.
He said: "That's what we're trying to do. If we have the right player in the market to make us much better. We are very looking forward to that."
