Liverpool has reportedly looked into a deal for Real Madrid star Endrick, although there doesn’t seem to be much hope of the Reds signing the 20-year-old.

Andoni Iraola’s side is still in the market for a new winger, with a replacement for Mohamed Salah yet to have been secured. Liverpool remains in the running for Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, while Ibrahim Mbaye is also among the options being considered.

With Barcelona defender set to complete his loan move to Anfield, a new forward remains the priority, with the new Premier League season now less than two weeks away, and a new name has emerged as a possible target recently.

Reports over the weekend claimed that Liverpool is one of the clubs to have been approached by Endrick’s representatives over a move this summer.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has now told talkSPORT that the Reds have "taken a look" at the Brazilian youngster, but it doesn’t look as though a deal will be reached. Liverpool is said to be looking a more permanent option, while Real will only let him head out on loan.

Endrick is not expected to feature prominently in Jose Mourinho’s side in the new season, having spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon. What’s more, Yan Diomande’s signing may have limited his chances at the Bernabeu further, while Vinicius Jr will not create an opening for him after agreeing a new deal.

But while Real is open to letting Endrick leave again this summer, the Spanish giant does not want to sell him, which doesn’t match up with what Liverpool is looking for.

Instead, Aston Villa is named among the clubs that have been alerted to a potential loan deal, with Italian side Roma also said to have made enquiries.

With Endrick seemingly out of the picture, Liverpool will continue to look elsewhere for a new winger as reports suggest that a move for Barcola may be getting closer.

Fabrizio Romano claims that the Reds have already received the “final green light” from the winger on personal terms, which could leave the club with just a deal to be agreed with PSG.

That is easier said than done though. The European champions are standing firm on their valuation of, and the French side would ideally like to keep the winger this summer, according to Sky Sports.

It’s suggested that there is still a significant gap between the valuations of Liverpool and PSG, with the French side sticking by their $196 million (£145M) price tag, which makes a deal difficult.

Although a move to Liverpool is said to appeal to Barcola, a transfer would rely on PSG lowering its asking price. Despite signing Maghnes Akliouche and being in advanced talks for Ajax winger Mika Godts, the pair are not deemed to be replacements for Barcola.
