Good evening and welcome to the Liverpool ECHO's live coverage of the Carabao Cup second round draw.
Everton will discover their opponents for the second round of the competition before the first-round tie between Plymouth and Exeter gets underway.
Clubs from all four tiers of the English Football League were entered into the competition in the first round stage this week, with Premier League sides who have not qualified for Europe joining them in the second round later this month.
Thirty-eight EFL sides came through the first round, with all three sides who were relegated from the Premier League last season triumphing.
In addition to the Blues, there will be a further ten Premier League clubs in the second draw, including Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur. Here, the ECHO will have all of the updates from this evening's draw.
