Lauris Coggin’s Under-18s welcome Liverpool to the City Football Academy for a 11:00 (UK) kick-off on Saturday 15 August, our first competitive outing of the new campaign.
Coggin and his team have been hard at work during pre-season, taking part in intense training drills and high-quality friendlies as the squad look to make a strong start to our title defence.
But Liverpool won’t be an easy opponent.
The Reds handed our young Blues just one of two league losses on home soil last term.
Liverpool went on to finish eighth in the table, with our 3-0 win in the reverse fixture in Merseyside a key stepping stone to City lifting the North title for a second successive season.
