David Moyes' side begins a fresh quest for elusive silverware as the Toffees learn their path through the early stages of the Carabao Cup.
Everton have discovered their opponents for the second round of the Carabao Cup.
The Toffees could only reach the third round last season as they were dumped out of the competition by Wolves, with Marshall Munetsi and Tolu Arokodare scoring for the home side that day.
Everton fans don't need reminding that it's been a long wait for a trophy, and the Carabao Cup is likely their best chance of lifting silverware in the near future.
Only a handful of Premier League teams are in the draw, with those competing in European competitions not entering until the third round.
The draw has been split into two sections, with Everton ball number eight.

Everton hunting for long-awaited trophy
Everton are still searching for that long-awaited trophy. Many reading this and supporting Everton in general won't have witnessed their side lift a trophy in their life, me included, and it's something the club need to shake off as soon as possible.
The Carabao Cup is the ideal chance for the Toffees to get their hands on silverware, as we saw with Newcastle recently, who were also waiting a while for a trophy.
Although the Premier League is the priority, it would nice to see a bit more emphasis on winning a trophy this season. I don't just mean taking it seriously through team selection, I mean players putting everything into these games and understanding what it would mean for supporters.
Everton need to shake off this horrible cloud that is lingering over them, and hopefully we can have a strong end to the summer transfer window to give ourselves a chance of doing just that.
