What is the net impact on Commanders of Diggs signing & Tunsil injury?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Commanders fans and fans across the country.

This week, again, we’re keeping the survey simple — just one question focused squarely on the good news (signing Stefon Diggs) and bad news (Laremy Tunsil injury) of the past few days.

No long introductions this week. All we’re asking is how you are feeling about the upcoming season in light of both of these roster impacts taken together.

Comments & Results

Of course, we invite you to answer the survey question below, but also feel free to expand on your answer and provide nuance in the comments section. While you are certainly free to simply share which choice you made on the survey question, the most interesting comments will explain why you answered the way you did. I rely on those comments when discussing the results of the survey when they are posted in a separate article the next few days.

Poll Question

How do you feel about the Commanders 2026 season compared to how you felt one week ago?

Over the past few days, Commanders fans have gotten good news and bad news that affects the outlook for the 2026 season.

Good news: Washington added Stefon Diggs on a 1-year contract to bolster the WR group

Bad news: Starting left tackle Laremy Tunsil suffered a pectoral injury that will require surgery and is expected to keep him off the field for several months, and possibly the entire 2026 season
