‘Probably’ – Manager admits €50m Liverpool target could leave after ‘concrete offer’
Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat to Monaco was a sour one to take as Andoni Iraola’s Anfield bow didn’t go as planned.
The Reds fared quite well in the first half, but after the interval, things went completely south as the visitors took their chances to secure a deserved win.
They were outrun and carved apart in midfield, in particular, which emerged as a cause for concern.
An intriguing subplot in the game was the presence of Liverpool-linked Lamine Camara, who started at the heart of Monaco’s midfield.
And after the game, Monaco boss Filipe Luis addressed the transfer speculation involving the young midfielder.

We relayed claims on Read Liverpool that Crystal Palace made a ‘concrete offer’ for Camara, who is valued at around €50m.
Liverpool’s interest isn’t new, but it appears the Reds will not reinforce their midfield this summer.
Luis, however, admits Camara could leave Monaco amid interest from a few clubs.

“I hope we can keep him,” said the Brazilian in his post-match interview.
“He is probably one of the best midfielders in the world. I do not want to say too much, because I know that many clubs are interested in him.
“We all want him to stay. He is really important to me.”
We’re not sure if Liverpool’s interest in Camara is active, and to be fair to the Reds, they have other priorities this summer.
Palace, however, have made their move, so if the 22-year-old is really wanted at Anfield.
