GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A new book about the Lombardi-era Green Bay Packers tells the story from the perspective of the players’ wives.
“Lambeau Ladies” was released last week and is written by Laura Kostelnik Biskupic and Katherine Biskupic, the daughter and granddaughter of Packers defensive tackle Ron Kostelnik, who wore No. 77 and played for the team from 1961 to 1968.
The storytellers in the book are the wives of some of the era’s most notable players and Hall of Famers, including Bart Starr, Jerry Kramer, Henry Jordan and Elijah Pitts. Marie Lombardi, wife of coach Vince Lombardi, also contributes to the book.
