Arsenal remain determined to bolster their squad in the closing weeks of the transfer window. Manager Mikel Arteta will have a vision of how he wants to strengthen his side as the Gunners aim to win consecutive Premier League titles.
Winger Christos Tzolis and midfielder Bruno Guimaraes are the club's major signings so far this summer. However, Arsenal's recent interest in Vinicius Junior, who has signed a new deal with Real Madrid, proved that Arteta is still seeking new players.
"Well, that's what we're trying to do," Arteta said when asked about new signings. "If we have the right player in the market to make us much better. We are very looking forward to that."
Arsenal have been linked with a potential move for Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, while Gunners star Gabriel Martinelli has emerged as a target for Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray. Here, football.london examines some of the most significant stories surrounding the club.
Kenan Yildiz stance clear
Juventus are reportedly reluctant to sell Yildiz, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal during the summer. The 21-year-old emerged as another possible option for Arsenal after the Gunners missed out on a move for Vinicius.
However, Tutto Juve reports that Yildiz is "considered unsellable" by the Italian outfit. Arsenal are claimed to have a strong interest in the forward but Juventus are eager to "build the new team" around the Turkey international.
The club's position is reported to remain unchanged from when the Gunners lodged an initial enquiry for Yildiz in June. Arteta's side were also linked with the forward last summer, with the Old Lady previously placing a valuation of around £85million on him.
In February, the left winger penned a new contract that runs until 2030. Yildiz scored 10 goals and provided seven assists in 36 Serie A appearances last season.

Gabriel Martinelli talks
Arsenal are in discussions with Galatasaray over a potential transfer for Gabriel Martinelli. The 25-year-old winger has entered the final year of his Gunners deal.
football.london understands that Arsenal are in negotiations with Galatasaray over a fee after the Turkish club declared their interest in Martinelli over the weekend. However, the forward's possible exit will not be authorised until Arsenal have secured a replacement.
The Brazilian forward lost his starting berth to Leandro Trossard last term, who has since joined Besiktas. The Gunners have already signed Tzolis on the left flank and remain linked with other wide targets, such as Yildiz.
