The countdown to the new Premier League season is well and truly on, with under two weeks until the action begins. As such, teams are working hard to finalise their plans for the upcoming campaign, and that, of course, includes spending big on players joining Premier League clubs. All of the major players in the Premier League are expected to be busy in the final weeks of the window, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal all exploring deals for big-name signings.
United are looking to sure up the left-hand side, with full-backs and wingers on their transfer wishlist. Arsenal are also in the market for a left-winger, with suggestions they could spend big before September's deadline rolls around. Meanwhile, for Liverpool, it's the opposite flank, with the right wing their most in-demand area of the squad.
Manchester United have reportedly hit a roadblock in their pursuit for Lewis Hall.
The left-back has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with United having identified him as a long-term Luke Shaw replacement.
However, as per Fabrizio Romano, a deal currently isn't possible, as Newcastle view him as untouchable.
That comes after the Magpies lost several big names this summer, with Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes all leaving for pastures new.
Romano states that for a deal to be possible, United would have to table an astronomical bid.

Liverpool's Bradley Barcola agreement
Bradley Barcola has reportedly said yes to Liverpool and agreed on a five-year deal.
That's according to Sacha Tavolieri, who reports the Merseysiders are edging closer to securing his signature.
However, any potential deal hinges on two things, one of them being Liverpool agreeing to match Paris Saint-Germain's lofty valuation.
While it's also claimed that PSG's pursuit of Mika Godts could delay proceedings for the Reds.
Barcola is valued at around £130million by PSG, with Liverpool hoping to agree a deal way under that figure.
The French international was part of the PSG team that won back-to-back Champions League titles.
