Preston North End have been drawn to face Everton at Deepdale in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
After beating Huddersfield Town on penalties at the Toffees’ old home Goodison Park on Saturday, PNE will line up against the Toffees in the second round.
It will see Everton boss David Moyes come up against his former club, who he played for in the 1990s and then later managed.

He guided PNE to promotion in 2000 before leading the club to one game away from promotion to the Premier League in 2001 where they were beaten by Bolton Wanderers in the play-off final.
Ties are scheduled for the week commencing Monday, August 24, 2026 .
