**Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated Crystal Palace striker Mylo Bernard after winning the race for the 16-year-old.**
The England youth international is set to move to Hale End after his Palace contract expired, with Arsenal only required to pay training compensation.
The Gunners have been pursuing Bernard throughout the summer as they continue to strengthen their academy with leading young talent from rival clubs.

His contract at Crystal Palace has expired, meaning Arsenal will pay training compensation rather than negotiate a conventional transfer fee.
The agreement represents another significant academy capture for the Gunners after Palace had offered Bernard improved terms in an attempt to keep him in south London.
Bernard made the step up to Under-18 football last season despite still being eligible for the Under-16s.
He scored six goals in 708 minutes of U18 Premier League football and has also represented England at youth level.
Arsenal have increasingly targeted promising players from other leading academies as they look to add to the talent already progressing through Hale End.
Bernard will now have the opportunity to continue his development in north London, with confirmation of the move expected once the remaining compensation formalities have been completed.
For Arsenal, it is another promising addition secured after several weeks of competition for his signature.
