Everton Eye Second Crystal Palace Raid For Right-Back Target
Everton could return to Crystal Palace for a second signing this summer. Daniel Munoz has emerged as a target for David Moyes as he looks to fill the right-back spot.
TEAMtalk say Everton were made aware of Munoz’s availability during talks over the Brennan Johnson-Dwight McNeil swap. Palace will listen to offers in the region of £25million. They have already brought in Anan Khalaili from Union Saint-Gilloise as cover.
Sky Sports have reported the interest separately. Their reporters say Moyes is driving the move personally, and that there is “no guarantee” Munoz stays at Selhurst Park this window.
The need is clear. Seamus Coleman has left. Nathan Patterson doesn’t look part of Moyes’ plans. Jake O’Brien, a centre-back by trade, filled in at right-back for much of last season.
Daniel Munoz scored five goals and set up four more in 46 appearances for Palace last season. He’s been one of the Premier League’s more consistent full-backs since joining from Genk in 2024.
Nottingham Forest, now managed by former Palace boss Oliver Glasner, are reportedly also interested.
Everton have already done one deal with Palace this window. Could this be a second?
(Or are we just getting carried away now?)
