Tristan Wirfs Seen Running In New Jersey; Teammate Reacts (Video)

What a glorious sight this morning in New Jersey as Bucs-Jets practice kicked off, and Joe’s not talking about the 79-degree temperatures and the flags at the Jets practice facility showing a pleasant breeze.

All-World Bucs left tackle Tristan Wirfs was running roughly 30-yard, 5o-percent speed runs along the sidelines as the Bucs warmed up.

He did several on his healing hamstring.

Wirfs was not seen on the sidelines working at prior Bucs practices in training camp. He injured the hamstring two weeks ago.

“We know he’s going to get healthy. No one’s too worried about him,” Graham Barton said of Wirfs during a chat with Joe. “If anything, he’s getting some rest and he’s getting stronger. He’s training; he’s getting in shape. They’re not going to rush him back and he’s not going to rush back. He’s going to get healthy so he can have an incredble season like he always does.”

Barton added Wirfs’ spirits are very good, despite missing being on the field.

Enjoy the Wirfs video below. It will help Joe sleep tonight.

Happy sight this morning.
