The Philadelphia Eagles are hoping that in 2026, their offense will catch up to their defense after a frustrating year in 2025. The Eagles made some major moves on that side of the ball this summer, trading AJ Brown to the New England Patriots in a blockbuster deal and also acquiring wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks from the Green Bay Packers in exchange for draft compensation.

Recently, NFL insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN broke down what he's been seeing so far at training camp, and the report should have fantasy football managers salivating.

“Dontayvion Wicks is more than a camp standout. The former Packer should be a big factor in the passing game. Multiple people with the team brought up his legit play unprompted. Wicks has length and the ability to high-point the ball, and Hurts throws a good deep ball,” reported Fowler.

Fowler also spoke on Wicks' time with the Packers, noting that “Some with the Eagles felt as if Wicks' modest production in Green Bay was a byproduct of a loaded offense and lack of chances more than poor performance. He needed the right opportunity. It appears he has it now.”

Wicks should indeed get plenty of chances to show off his skills this year with the Eagles, who replaced offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo with Sean Mannion this offseason. Philadelphia also used its first-round draft pick to select talented wideout Makai Lemon, revamping their wide receiver room with more depth, despite losing Brown.

Those two, combined with the reliable Devonta Smith, should give Jalen Hurts plenty of weapons at his disposal in 2026, as discourse swirls around the quarterback and where he ranks in the NFL landscape.

The Eagles will kick off their new season on September 13.
