Mudryk could join Coventry City or another Premier League club on loan, which would really benefit the winger.
After missing nearly two years of football, Mudryk needs to play regularly in the new season and get his development back on track.
However, if the plan is for Mudryk to remain at Stamford Bridge, the 25-year-old will be looking forward to the trip to Fulham. He has fond memories playing at Craven Cottage.

In his last and only appearance at Craven Cottage, Mudryk played just 45 minutes. However, it was a first half he will never forget after scoring against Fulham.
That was his first-ever goal for Chelsea following his move from Shakhtar Donetsk.
According to Sofascore, Mudryk only had 16 touches of the ball on the night before being substituted at half-time because of an injury. But after scoring for the first time in a blue shirt, that would not have mattered to the Ukrainian.

Even if Mudryk does remain at Chelsea, it is unlikely that he will be able to make a similar impact to that again.
Xabi Alonso is likely to go with Morgan Rogers for the left-wing position when Chelsea take on Fulham on 24 August, while he also has Jamie Gittens and Geovany Quenda as alternatives.
Mykhailo Mudryk’s record in the Premier League
Should Mudryk remain at Chelsea or join another Premier League club on loan, he will be desperate to improve his record in the division.
Since signing for Chelsea in 2023, Mudryk has only scored five goals in 53 appearances. He has not managed to register too many assists either, recording just four.
With that in mind, the Ukraine international will probably want to stay in England and prove himself. But Strasbourg could also be a good loan for Mudryk as he looks to get his career going again.
